The Tennessee Titans started out the week as an underdog to the Denver Broncos, the home team for the pair’s Week 1 contest — but the line has since moved.
The reason for its initial change was the injury to superstar pass rusher Von Miller, who will be out for the Week 1 contest and could miss the entire 2020 season. That is no doubt a big blow for the Broncos’ defense.
After Miller’s injury, the Titans became 2.5-point favorites, according to BetMGM, but are now listed as three-point favorites in the latest odds. The over/under has also changed, with it going from 40.5 to 41.5.
Odds: Titans (-3) | Broncos (+3)
Over/Under: 41.5
Money Line: Titans (-162) | Broncos (+135)

One possible reason for the line moving again is the status of wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who is questionable going into Monday’s contest and could be limited even if he does play. If Sutton is ruled out, we could see this line move again.
The Titans aren’t going into this game at full strength, either. Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and outside linebacker Vic Beasley will both be out, although the loss of Jackson looms much larger, especially if Sutton plays.
It is kind of surprising that the line hasn’t moved in the other direction with the news of Jackson being ruled out.

The Broncos are historically a tough team to beat at home in Week 1. Denver has won its last seven in such contests and sports a 28-6-1 record all time in home-openers that take place in Week 1.
On the flip side, the Titans were solid on the road last season, posting a 5-3 mark, and they won their 2019 season-opener as the away team against the Cleveland Browns.
There isn’t much to glean from the last meeting between these two teams, which was in Week 6 of last season and saw the Broncos post a shutout against the Titans, as both teams have changed quite a bit since then.
