We may have seen the writing on the wall, but it is now being reported that Washington cornerback Kendall Fuller will be held out of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a knee injury that has been plaguing him throughout training camp thus far.
This past week, Fuller has been limited in practice with the hopes of playing in the season opener, but it looks like he was unable to get cleared to go.
In his place, Washington will look to either Jimmy Moreland and Fabian Moreau to step up opposite Ronald Darby, who will be facing his former team for the first time. Luckily for Washington, they won’t have to deal with WR Alshon Jeffery on the Eagles, who is also ruled out for this game.
