The former five-star prospect connected with Marvin Mims for a 58-yard touchdown just a little over five minutes into the first quarter.
The redshirt freshman quarterback is making his starting debut here in the first game of 2020. He played in four games last season, but finally gets a chance to step into the spotlight this year.
Much has been made of Rattler’s expectations in Norman. He follows in the footsteps of a pair of Heisman Trophy winners in Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, as well as Heisman runner-up Jalen Hurts.
