Kenny Golladay ‘pretty limited’ in Friday’s practice

Lions WR Kenny Golladay ‘pretty limited’ in Friday’s practice according to head coach Matt Patricia

The Detroit Lions could be without reining NFL touchdown receptions leader Kenny Golladay when they kick off the season against the Chicago Bears in Week 1.

Golladay was once again limited in Friday’s practice. That’s the same status as Thursday after No. 19 suffered a hamstring injury during Wednesday’s session.

Coach Matt Patricia was asked about Golladay’s status in his pre-practice Zoom press conference. He did not sound optimistic.

“He’ll be out (meaning on the field) at practice. He’ll be dressed, and we’ll see what he can do, but probably pretty limited.”

The Lions will release the full final injury report for Week 1 later on Friday. That will determine if Golladay is ruled out before Sunday’s game at Ford Field.
