Houston Texans running back David Johnson introduced himself to the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday night.
The former All-Pro running back took a 19-yard carry all the way to the house for a touchdown to give the Texans a 7-0 lead after the Ka’aimi Fairbairn extra point with 5:12 to go in the first quarter at Arrowhead Stadium.
Johnson and Duke Johnson split carries on the drive, which was a commitment to what the Texans talked about all season about the Johnsons being interchangeable due to their very similar skillsets.
However, it was the old Arizona Cardinals’ Johnson that took the first scoring carry for Houston.
