Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard told reporters Thursday that the team plans to make a bold statement during the national anthem ahead of the Week 1 opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
The Colts have been very outspoken in their beliefs for social justice. During the end of training camp, they detailed their list of objectives when it comes to getting out into the community while helping bridge the gap between law enforcement and the people.

It’s unclear whether the Colts will kneel during the national anthem, but Leonard told the media Thursday that they will make a bold statement while doing so as a team.
