LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers have an opportunity to retake control in their best-of-seven second round series against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. James and Davis were both excellent on Sunday, also getting a solid hand from their reserves. But the Lakers should also expect the Rockets star players to play a little better in Game 3.
As far as Houston is concerned, they will need a much better performance from Russell Westbrook. James Harden was 6 of 12 from the field and had an efficient 27 points, while the rest of the non-Westbrook supporting cast did a solid job. Westbrook’s 4 for 15 night, to go with seven head-scratching turnovers, can’t be replicated if Houston is to get on the board again in this series.

The Lakers bench, namely Rajon Rondo, Markieff Morris, and Kyle Kuzma, all put together strong performances, which will also likely need to repeat itself if the Lakers are going to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
