Jaylen Brown has big bounce back game, Celtics runaway from Raptors

Jaylen Brown’s big game leads the Boston Celtics to a Game 5 win over the Toronto Raptors.

The Boston Celtics were facing a bit of adversity after being just half a second away from a 3-0 lead. They now faced the possibility of going down 3-2 to the defending champion Toronto Raptors and they desperately needed a way to breakthrough.

So, they turned to Jaylen Brown to bounce back from a tough Game 4 and he did so in a big way. He led Boston with 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting and he knocked down three shots from deep in a 111-89 win over Toronto in Game 5.

On top of Brown’s big game, Kemba Walker poured in 21 points and seven assists, Jayson Tatum had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Daniel Theis had 13 points and eight rebounds with two blocks, Marcus Smart had 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Brad Wanamaker had 15 off the bench.

The Celtics will now look to close out the Raptors in Game 6 and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals for the third time in four seasons. [lawrence-related id=41518,41514,41511]
