Ex-LSU nose tackle Breiden Fehoko wasn’t away from the Los Angeles Chargers for long.
The team originally signed Fehoko as an undrafted rookie free agent shortly after the 2020 NFL Draft, but waived him on Saturday when they cut the roster down to 53 players.
Los Angeles wasted no time signing Fehoko to the practice squad on Sunday, though.
Fehoko took to Twitter with a #BoltUp in light of the move. His place on the practice squad was confirmed by several reporters shortly after the tweet was released.

Fehoko left his impression on the team in more ways than one, quickly finding a place in the spotlight on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” when he performed the Haka dance that he also did before LSU games back in Baton Rouge.
Over a pair of seasons at LSU after transferring from Texas Tech, Fehoko recorded 33 combined tackles, 10 solo, two sacks and two passes defensed.
The Chargers are set to begin their season on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 13.
