Cardinals claim no players off waivers; none of their cuts claimed either

They can bring back any of the players they cut to the practice squad.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury suggested it would be this way, but after final cuts were made around the NFL on Saturday, the Cardinals did not claim any players off waivers.

Last year, when the Cardinals held the No. 1 priority on waivers, were awarded five players. This year, they were awarded none.

It is unknown whether or not they placed a waiver claim on any player. They held the No. 8 priority this year.

None of the players the Cardinals released on Friday or Saturday were claimed by anyone else.

That means the Cardinals will be able to bring back any of the players they cut to their practice squad, which is 16 players and up to six players of unlimited service time.
