Prediction

Dodgers 7, Diamondbacks 2

Moneyline (ML)

The Dodgers (-250) are big favorites and for good reason. They’ve not only won 10 in a row at home, they’ve won five in a row overall, 11 of 13 and 18 of 21.

Plus, they’ve won 16 of their last 17 vs. the Rockies at Dodger Stadium; however, making a -250 wager is above my limit. I’ll PASS and back the run line.

New to sports betting? Every $2.50 bet on the Dodgers ML will profit only $1 if they win. A winning $1 bet on the Diamondbacks (+225) will profit $2.25.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

The DODGERS (-1.5, -121) are the STRONGEST PLAY. Sure, L.A. is bound to lose eventually, but the Dodgers own Colorado (+1.5, +100). The Dodgers are 13-4 vs. the RL in those last 17 home games against the Rockies. Plus, May gives L.A. an advantage in Friday’s pitching matchup. (Strongest plays should be 1½ times your usual bet.)

Over/Under (O/U)

PASSING here, too. I project a solid outing from the Dodgers’ May, but the Rockies’ Senzatela has struggled vs. L.A. in his career. If you must, I’d lean to the Under 9 (-110), but I’m afraid the Dodgers could score 9 runs on their own.
