A new report suggests that free-agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney could sign “very soon”, and the Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints are two teams “making strong pushes” for the former No. 1 overall pick.
The report comes from ESPN’s Dianna Russini.
Jadeveon Clowney could be with a team a very soon. I’m told the Tennessee Titans and the New Orleans Saints are both making strong pushes to sign the free agent. Both teams want him on the field by Monday and are making their pitches.

Earlier in the day, Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson reported that Clowney had frustrated teams like the Titans because of his “lack of engagement” throughout the process.
Robinson seemed to indicate that Clowney was basically ghosting suitors, with teams imploring his agent to get him to talk to them.
