Chargers’ Anthony Lynn: ‘Tyrod Taylor is our starter’

Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn ended any sort of questions around who his starting quarterback will be heading into the 2020 regular season.
It’s veteran Tyrod Taylor who will be starting over rookie Justin Herbert.
“Tyrod Taylor is our starter right now,” Lynn said on Wednesday from Chargers training camp. “Until someone steps up and shows that they can run this team, that’s [how] we’re going into it.”.
Herbert, the sixth-overall pick at the 2020 NFL Draft and third quarterback taken off the board was up against it this offseason due to COVID-19.
Taylor, 31, was the Bills starting quarterback from 2015 until 2017. In his final season there, he guided the team to the postseason for the first time in nearly two decades
