LSU star wide receiver opts out of 2020 football season

Defensive backs throughout the SEC just took a big sigh of relief.

On Sunday, LSU star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase announced that he is opting out of the 2020 college football season to “concentrate on his professional career.”

The 2019 Biletnikoff Award winner and unanimous All-American was expected to be the top receiver in college football this upcoming season in his junior year but, with the season changed due to the COVID-19 virus, he has obviously changed his mind.
