The Seahawks have reunited with another familiar face just in time for the start of the regular season.
On Saturday, NFL.com’s Mike Garafolo confirmed the team would be signing wide Paul Richarson back to the roster.
Seattle had hosted Richardson earlier in the week on a visit and the wide receiver had gone through the mandated COVID-19 testing.
The Richardson signing makes sense in light of the recent injuries to the receiving corps. Phillip Dorsett (foot) and John Ursua (hamstring) have both missed practiced over the last week.
Richardson was originally selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons in Seattle before signing in Washington in 2018
