The LSU Tigers picked up a big commitment on Friday evening when four-star cornerback Nathaniel Wiggins made his college choice.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder out of Westlake High in Atlanta, chose LSU over his other finalists, Florida and Oregon. Wiggins had listed over 30 offers, including several SEC schools.

Wiggins is the No. 117 overall player in the 2021 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Wiggins is ranked No. 68 overall by 247Sports in-house rankings.Â

A two-way player in high school, Wiggins is expected to play cornerback in Baton Rouge.Â
Wiggins is commitment No. 17 for LSUâs 2021 recruiting class and the first cornerback this cycle. Safety Khari Gee is the only other defensive back commitment in the 2021 class to this point.Â
Wiggins is yet another recruiting win for cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond who has landed Derek Stingley Jr. and Eli Ricks in the last two classes.
After the commitment of Wiggins, LSU moves up to the No. 3 spot in the 247Sports team rankings for the class of 2021.Â
