Looking ahead to the 2021 NFL Draft, Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling has the Tennessee Titans addressing multiple positions of need in his latest three-round mock.
With the No. 15 overall selection, Easterling has the Titans taking 6-foot-2, 210-pound Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who would be the solution for Tennessee if Corey Davis leaves in free agency next offseason.
In the second round at pick No. 47, Easterling pegs 6-foot-5, 253-pound Penn State EDGE Jayson Oweh as the selection for the Titans.
This is another logical pick, as the Titans figure to have a need at the position once again next year with the future uncertainty surrounding both Kamalei Correa and Vic Beasley, both of whom are on one-year deals.
In the third and final round of the mock (No. 79 overall), Tennessee takes 6-foot-1, 285-pound West Virginia defensive lineman, Darius Stills.
As currently constituted, the Titans don’t have a nailed-down solution on the defensive line alongside DaQuan Jones and Jeffery Simmons for 2020 after trading Jurrell Casey — and Jones himself could be in his last year in Nashville in what is a contract year for him.
Overall, this is a pretty sound mock draft for the Titans from Easterling. Not only does he have the Titans grabbing some solid talent, but they’d also be filling what figure to be some of the biggest areas of need in 2021.
