UPPER ARLINGTON — Former University of Tennessee golfer Rick Lamb competed in the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Nationwide Children’s Hospital championship last week.
He finished 2-over par after Friday’s second round and failed to make the cut at the Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course.
Lamb, who began his collegiate golf career at Santa Clara before transferring to play for the Volunteers, turned professional in 2014.
He won three events while playing for the Vols and finished tied for second at the 2013 NCAA Division I national championship.
A native of South Bend Indiana, Lamb played high school golf at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
He has one professional win as he claimed the championship of the LECOM Health Challenge in 2016 on the Web.com Tour.
