LAS VEGAS – Saturday’s UFC main event is official with a former champion fighting 20 pounds lighter than he fought when he held a title.
[autotag]Frankie Edgar[/autotag] (23-8-1 MMA, 17-8-1 UFC) takes on [autotag]Pedro Munhoz[/autotag] (18-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in the UFC on ESPN 15 main event, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN+.
Edgar, a former lightweight champion who has fought at featherweight the past several years and fought for titles in that division, as well, is at bantamweight for the first time. He came in at 135.5 pounds. Munhoz was 136 to make their fight official.
