Three players — Georgia shooting guard Anthony Edwards, former Memphis center James Wiseman and former Illawarra Hawks (Australian league) point guard LaMelo Ball — are widely considered the draft’s top prospects, with Edwards probably the favorite to go No. 1. But according to multiple sources, the Warriors’ draft board could differ significantly from those of lottery teams in search of an instant franchise savior. The usual lottery approach — draft the best player available — isn’t so simple in a year with such little separation between the top prospects. As Warriors majority owner Joe Lacob recently told The Chronicle, “We’re going to go for someone who’s a good fit for what we already have.”
