The LSU Tigers have been on quite a roll recruiting in 2020. The defending national champions signed a top-five class in 2020, currently have a top-five class for 2021 and have the No. 1 class in 2022, per 247Sports.
Now, it’s time to start looking ahead to 2023.
247Sports released its list of the top 100 players for 2023 on Wednesday and a familiar name came in at No. 5 overall.
Arch Manning, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound quarterback from the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, is the top-ranked quarterback in the 2023 class.

Manning comes from quarterback royalty. He is the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning and the grandson of Archie Manning. Arch Manning is the son of Archie Manning’s oldest son, Cooper.
Cooper Manning, Peyton and Eli all played high school football at Isidore Newman.
Manning had an impressive freshman season for Newman in 2019, completing almost 66 percent of his passes with 34 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
Cooper Manning spoke about his son earlier this summer about the size he gained after an offseason in the weight room, according to Jeff Duncan of The Athletic.
Thanks to a growth spurt and some diligent work in the weight room, Newman QB Arch Manning has gone from 6-1, 165 pounds to almost 6-3 and 190 this summer, according to Cooper & Archie Manning. He looks primed for a big sophomore season at Newman, assuming there is one in 2020.

As the top player in the state of Louisiana, Manning will be a prime target for head coach Ed Orgeron and LSU. After the record-breaking season by Joe Burrow in 2019, the Tigers will attract the nation’s elite passers.
The Tigers have commitments from a pair of four-star passers in both the 2021 and 2022 classes in Garrett Nussmeier and Walker Howard.
