After cutting ties with seventh-round pick Cole McDonald, the Tennessee Titans have signed veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian, per the NFL transaction wire.
Siemian, 28, was a 2015 seventh-round pick out of Northwestern. He started 24 games in three seasons with the Broncos before signing with the Vikings in 2018 to backup quarterback Kirk Cousins.
He appeared in just one game for the Jets last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury.
In his career, Siemian is 13-12 as a starter and has thrown for 5,689 yards, 30 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.
He’ll back up Ryan Tannehill, who had quite the comeback season in 2019.
The only other quarterback on Tennessee’s roster is Logan Woodside.
