Projected first-round picks LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards will each be interviewed during ESPN’s coverage of the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery by Rachel Nichols on Thursday night, according to Awful Announcing.
The network is planning a 30-minute broadcast to unveil the order of selection for the first 14 picks in the 2020 NBA Draft during its quadruple-header coverage of the playoffs. In addition to Nichols, Jay Williams, Jay Bilas and Adrian Wojnarowski will also be featured in the show.
Nichols will also speak with NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who is the team’s representative in the virtual lottery. The 14 team representatives will all appear on the broadcast, similar to how the NFL Draft was delivered.

Of course, Ball and Edwards are projected to be top-five picks in the Oct. 16 NBA Draft. Ball was named the NBL Rookie of the Year with the Illawarra Hawks and Edwards was named the SEC Freshman of the Year with the Georgia Bulldogs.
The teams with the three worst records in the NBA prior to the season suspension — the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves — have the highest chance of winning the No. 1 overall pick at 14% each.
Coverage of the NBA Draft Lottery will begin on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
