After an incredible college football career at Alabama and Oklahoma, which included being a 2019 Heisman Trophy finalist, Jalen Hurts accumulated a lot of fans before making it to the NFL.
One of those fans is a young boy named Alexander. And, according to his mom on Twitter, he’s such a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles’ second-round NFL Draft pick that he has a blue backpack with “Jalen Hurts #2” written on it, possibly referencing Hurts’ three seasons with the Crimson Tide when he wore No. 2 before switching to No. 1 with the Sooners. But he’s also wearing No. 2 with the Eagles now.
Well, apparently Hurts wanted to return the favor with a touching gesture because Monday night, he tweeted a photo of a similar blue backpack. But this one had “Alexander” written on the front so Hurts and one of his biggest fans could be twins.
That’s Lit, Alexander !! I had to get me a backpack with YOUR name on it too haha 😬💪🏽! #TWINS @nikkgphd https://t.co/5wIlTX7m2u pic.twitter.com/bZnu4cPfJM
