Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis was given a clean bill of health on the same day the team begins padded practices at training camp.
According to an announcement from the team, Davis passed his physical and has been removed from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
Davis was first placed on the list on July 28, the same day Titans veterans reported to training camp. The former No. 5 overall pick landed on the list after undergoing offseason toe surgery.
During the first two days of full-squad practices, Davis was working on a side field. On Friday, he did some light route-running, while on Sunday he worked with strength coach Brian Bell and took part in some drills.
Davis is in a make-or-break season in 2020 after the Titans declined his fifth-year option, setting him up to hit the open market next offseason. The Western Michigan product will need to post the best season of his career if he hopes to land a long-term deal from either the Titans or another team in 2021.
