One of the big reasons why Miami Dolphins fans feel differently about their new quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, is because it has been quite some time since the Dolphins have welcomed someone with so much star power onto their team. College football fans everywhere know who Tagovailoa is — the man who engineered a magnificent second half comeback against Georgia in the National Championship Game before igniting college football on fire with his passing for two seasons.
Before Tua, the University of Alabama was a “grind it out” offense. But by the time Tua left for the NFL in January of 2020, the Tide were a high-flying act that could score in the blink of an eye.
Tua’s story is one that featured plenty of ups and downs — and we recently learned that Fox Sports was going to be producing a documentary of the last year of Tua’s life to pull back the curtain and unveil what his path to South Florida has looked like since he took the field for his junior season at Alabama. And while we know how the story ends, with Tua on the Dolphins to help fulfill the “Tank For Tua” murmurs, there will be no shortage of highlights when the documentary, “TUA”, premieres on Sunday, September 6th.
And now we can watch the first trailer for the television event: Fox Sports has released a two minute promo, which you can watch below.
