The Big 12 Board of Directors are currently set to meet at 5 p.m. on Tuesday to discuss the 2020 season. The decision comes in light of the uncertainty surrounding college football.
The Big 10 officially announced on Tuesday that it will be cancelling it’s fall slate in hopes to play it out in the spring. The PAC-12 has yet to make a decision, but will reportedly follow the Big Ten in postponing til spring.
The Big 12’s decision however, may not come on Tuesday.
Former Big 12 school Nebraska expressed their thoughts on the Big Ten’s decision, and said they are dedicated to playing the season, no matter what it takes.
“We are very disappointed in the decision by the Big Ten Conference to postpone the fall football season, as we have been & continue to be ready to play.”
Should the Big 12 continue on with their season, there is a real chance teams from conferences that canceled could join.
