The Green Bay Packers are adding a wide receiver to the roster.
The team claimed Travis Fulgham, a sixth-round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2019, off of waivers from the Lions on Monday, according to the NFL’s transaction wire.
Fulgham played in three games in December for the Lions last season. He was targeted three times but didn’t have a catch.
Fulgham, who turns 25 in September, caught 128 passes for 2,044 yards and 18 touchdowns over four years at Old Dominion. The Lions made him the 184th overall pick in the 2019 draft.
In Green Bay, Fulgham will have a chance to compete for a roster spot among a group of unproven wide receivers.
Fulgham (6-2, 213) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine. He also had a 36.5″ vertical leap and 10-6 broad jump. At his pro day, he posted a three-cone time of 6.94 seconds.
Fulgham was waived by the Lions on Aug. 9.
