Last season, the Falcons signed Wilcox but he suffered a torn ACL and wasn’t able to play. A former Georgia Southern standout, Wilcox has starting experience and gives the Falcons some insurance for Pro-Bowl saftey Keanu Neal, who’s returning from back-to-back season-ending injuries.
Drafted by Dallas in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Wilcox spent four seasons with the Cowboys where he started 38 games. He then had short stints with the Colts, Steelers and Jets before signing in Atlanta last offseason.
