Miami Heat rookie Tyler Herro recorded 11 points, three rebounds and three assists during a 112-106 win over the Boston Celtics but it was what he did to Grant Williams that had everyone talking on social media.
Herro scored all 11 of his points during the second quarter as he shot 4-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range, in the period. He played a key role in helping the Heat push the halftime lead over the Celtics to 12 points after catching fire from deep.
The magic continued for Herro in the second quarter before he hit one of his 3-pointers. With the ball in his hands, Herro made a move with the ball and nearly dropped Williams in the process.

The “Phantom Cam” view by the NBA really highlighted the play and the fact that Williams nearly lost his footing on the move by Herro, something Herro didn’t seem to notice. Overall, the play was likely a synopsis of the game as the Heat led from start to finish and dominated most of the evening.
With the win, the fourth-placed Heat picked up a full game on the Celtics in third place and are now only a game-and-a-half behind them in the standings with five games to play.
