And then there were five.
According to the NFL’s transaction wire, the Green Bay Packers added long snapper Hunter Bradley to the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday, bringing the team’s current total up to five players. Bradley joined kicker Mason Crosby, tight end Jace Sternberger, defensive lineman Treyvon Hester and outside linebacker Greg Roberts on the list.
Bradley, a draft pick of the Packers in 2018, has been the team’s lone long snapper during the last two seasons.
The reserve/COVID-19 list is for players who test positive for the virus or need to quarantine after coming in close contact with an infected person. Teams won’t disclose which group a player on the list fits into.
It’s only Aug. 3, but the Packers already have two-thirds of their special teams group and their expected starting tight end on the reserve list.
