Los Angeles Lakers forward Jared Dudley tweeted on Sunday as the Washington Wizards played the Brooklyn Nets that he believed Rui Hachimura is the most slept on rookie this season.

Hachimura led the Wizards with 21 points during a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Friday but followed up that with only nine points in a loss to the Nets. Despite being nearly a non-factor in his last outing, Hachimura has emerged as one of the top rookies this season.

Dudley pointed out that Hachimura has some traits of Kawhi Leonard in his game. Dudley noticed that Hachimura is skilled and plays tough and aggressively with the Wizards. He praised the organization for finding Hachimura last year.

His view on Hachimura was also shared by All-Star Bradley Beal.

Hachimura drew praise from Wizards head coach Scott Brooks after returning to the team in better shape with an improved jump shot. He has looked more aggressive since the season restart began and is something that he is continuing to work on.

While the Wizards face a tough task in qualifying for the playoffs this year, Hachimura appears to be poised to have a bright future in the NBA and that should be welcomed news for fans.
