ORLANDO — Former University of Tennessee basketball player Admiral Schofield made a contribution for the Washington Wizards Friday night.
Schofield, a small forward, played six minutes and grabbed two rebounds for Washington in its 125-112 loss to the Phoenix Suns at Visa Athletic Center.
He has spent most of the season as a two-way player for the Wizards and their NBA G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go.
Schofield played for the Volunteers between 2015-19 and was a second-round pick in the 2019 NBA draft following his college career.
At Tennessee, Schofield was an AP Honorable Mention All-America and a first-team All-Southeastern Conference standout in 2019.
He was a second-team All-SEC performer in 2018.
