Is the photo above the first look at the future of the Green Bay Packers?
On Friday, the team released a photo of rookie quarterback Jordan Love in his full No. 10 Packers uniform, with the home green uniform and gold pants, providing the first real look at Love in his new digs.
(Following the draft, Wisconsin-based graphic designer Mitchell Pantzke provided an early look at Love in the green and gold with this terrific swap.)
This might be one of the only times we see Love in a full Packers uniform until the regular season considering all preseason games are canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Packers traded up in the first round of April’s draft to get Love, the talented quarterback from Utah State. Even two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers is now working under the assumption that Love will one day take his job and become the new starting quarterback of the Packers, a job he’s held since the 2008 season.
Love as assigned the No. 10 uniform, the same number he wore at Utah State. Several former Packers quarterbacks have worn the number, including Lynn Dickey (he later switched to 12) and Matt Flynn.
