Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and Jaire Alexander have ‘X-Factor’ abilities in ‘Madden NFL 21’

Three players for the Packers will have rare “X-factor” abilities in Madden NFL 21.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, receiver Davante Adams and cornerback Jaire Alexander all have “X-Factor” abilities on “Madden NFL 21,” the new football game from EA Sports.

Only a select few players in the game have “X-Factor” abilities, which is described by Madden as a “game-changing ability system that made NFL stars feel like stars.”

The Packers have some star power in the virtual world.

Rodgers has the “Gambler” X-factor. Once activated, Rodgers cannot be intercepted by AI defenders.

Adams has the “Double me” X-factor. Once activated, Adams has increased success rate on aggressive catches against single coverage.

Alexander has the “Shutdown” X-factor. Once activated, Alexander has tighter coverage and creates more interceptions on contested catches.

According to Madden, these “abilities are reserved for only the most elite players in the league.”

The top players also have individual traits, including several members of the Packers.

Rodgers has “Dashing Deadeye,” “Roaming Deadeye,” and “Gunslinger.” Good luck containing him once he breaks the pocket and wants to throw downfield.

Adams has “Outside Apprentice,” “Redzone Threat,” and “Route Technician.” Covering Adams anywhere on the virtual field might be impossible.

Left tackle David Bakhtiari has “All Day,” and “Edge Protector.” No sacks for you.

Defensive lineman Kenny Clark has “Inside Stuff” and “Instant Rebate.” He’ll be wrecking stuff from the interior.

Edge rusher Za’Darius Smith has “Edge Threat Elite,” “Mr. Big Stop,” and “Out My Way.” Z doesn’t have an “X-factor,” but maybe he should.

Alexander has “Short Route KO,” “Deep Route KO,” and “Acrobat.” Madden sure loves Jaire.
