Baltimore Orioles put teen superfan Mo Gaba in team Hall of Fame

The Baltimore Orioles have put superfan Mo Gaba in the team’s Hall of Fame.

The Baltimore Orioles delivered big time Tuesday. They put superfan Mo Gaba into the team’s Hall of Fame.

Gaba, 14, has been blind since he was 9 months old because of the first of several bouts with cancer.

Trey Mancini, who was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in March, was among the attendees at Gaba’s graduation from Lindale Middle School in June. He credits an All-Star break spent with Gaba for helping him shake a first-half slump in 2018, propelling him into a 2019 season that earned him Most Valuable Oriole honors. Gaba surprised Mancini by attending the award ceremony.

Gaba is beloved by all in Baltimore, especially the sports teams he follows with a passion unlike many others.

In 2019, Gaba announced a draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens.
