“Just like in a fight, you get your head hit a few times, you’re going to change up and start protecting your body from those head shots,” Smart said. “We got beat in transition a few times in these scrimmages, and we really come in the next day and practices and the scrimmage after and film really focused on that, and that’s what it is. … “We’re not the biggest team, but our defense and our speed and our quickness and our athleticism is what makes us very very hard to beat. So we have to continue to do that and get back in transition. Like I said, we’ve been hit in our heads a couple times before, trying to put the fire under our butts and kind of get us back to the urgency we need.”
