Jamal Crawford’s Brooklyn Nets debut will not be made on Monday against the Utah Jazz.
Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn ruled the veteran guard out for Brooklyn’s final Disney bubble scrimmage on a Zoom call with reporters on Sunday, per Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News.
Crawford has not appeared in an NBA game since April 9 of the 2018-19 season when he was a member of the Phoenix Suns.
After Monday’s scrimmage against the Jazz, Brooklyn won’t play again until Friday at 2:30 p.m. — their first seeding game, which will be against the Orlando Magic.
In addition to Crawford, Donta Hall will not be available for the Nets on Monday, per Winfield.
Jamal Crawford concludes his interview with “Today is Sunday, and it’s a great day to arrest the killers of Breonna Taylor.”
I would have to agree.

Hall did not have his first workout with the team until July 24, the day before Brooklyn’s 124-119 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Vaughn stresses that the Nets will have to play eight games in 14 days and thinks a lot of results will be based on what teams will be able to stay healthy during said stretch. Hence his reasoning for being cautious with guys.
