Nets fans didn’t exactly get the show they might’ve wanted in Brooklyn’s first game back from the NBA’s hiatus. Fortunately for the Nets, that game means nothing in the standings. It’s just a chance to shake off some rust and get used to playing without fans — something Garrett Temple was not ready for.
Brooklyn will continue to work toward being regular season-ready on Saturday when they get to face the San Antonio Spurs at 4:30 p.m.
As was the case with Wednesday’s matchup against the New Orlean Pelicans, the Nets’ scrimmage against the Spurs will not have a radio broadcast on WFAN. However, fans can still watch the game live on YES Network, with the Brooklyn Nets Restart Special airing a half-hour before tip-off.
Unlike the Nets’ first scrimmage, this matchup will not be available on NBA TV for fans outside of the market.
