LeBron James says he ‘can’t wait’ for Lakers Thursday scrimmage

LeBron James said he’s approaching the scrimmage as if it was a real game, so he will play tonight.

It appears pretty safe to say that LeBron James is going to play tonight as the Los Angeles Lakers play their first of three scrimmages later this evening against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. While there is still a little bit unknown about his workload in all three of the scrimmages, LeBron’s Instagram post from Thursday morning indicates he’s very hyped to play against someone else for the first time in 4 months.

And while the game is only a scrimmage and has no bearing on the Lakers record, LeBron is approaching today’s 40-minute scrimmage as he would any other game, with a “championship mindset.”

James and the Lakers have yet to play a game since March 10, a home loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
