Cam Newton is officially in Boston. The quarterback landed at Logan Airport on Wednesday night, ready to begin a new chapter as a member of the New England Patriots. There has been a ton of speculation in regards to what his 2020 season will look like. Now, it all officially begins.
Newton has been working out with the various members of the Patriots over the last couple of weeks. Building a rapport with his teammates will help his battle with second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham — who has familiarity with the team and playbook.
The former NFL MVP didn’t talk much to the assembled media and fans that were there. He didn’t want to talk to reporters, but he did offer a simple message for fans.

It will be interesting to see how Newton fares in his first season under Bill Belichick. In an offseason of shakeups around the league, Newton to New England has the potential to be the biggest of them all.
