The Detroit Lions are one of eight NFL teams to have their infectious disease emergency response plan approved by the NFLPA.
All teams were required to present the player’s association with a detailed plan on how to proceed forward with football operations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While all 32 teams have submitted their IDER plans for review, the Lions are one of just a quarter of the teams whose plan passed muster with the review board.
The Lions have consistently avoided drama on the pandemic response this offseason. The quick approval means the team should be able to proceed with the upcoming training camp as scheduled.
