With rookies set to report to training camp on Thursday, July 23, the Tennessee Titans have inked another one of their 2020 NFL Draft picks.
Running back Darrynton Evans’ agency, Element Sports Group, revealed that the Appalachian State product has signed his rookie deal.

Along with Evans, the Titans have signed fifth-round pick, defensive lineman Larrell Murchison, and both seventh-round picks, quarterback Cole McDonald and defensive back Chris Jackson.
The only two players who remain unsigned are first-round pick, offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, and second-round pick, cornerback Kristian Fulton. Both of those deals should be done in due time, though.
Evans is expected to be the No. 2 back behind workhorse Derrick Henry in 2020. He’ll also have a chance to compete for a spot as one of the team’s returners after proving to be an electric kick returner in college.
While it doesn’t seem like there is much work for Evans to soak up in his first campaign with Henry dominating so many touches, he could see more carries than expected if the Titans try to lessen Henry’s workload a bit after he led the league in rushing attempts last season.
The rookie may also see involvement in the passing game, as Henry hasn’t been prominently featured in that area in years past and the Titans cut pass-catching specialist, running back Dion Lewis, earlier this offseason.
