Bears WR Allen Robinson has been ridiculously good beyond 20 yards downfield

WR Allen Robinson has accomplished some impressive things since he signed with Chicago two years ago, despite their offensive struggles.

Allen Robinson was the best part about the Chicago Bears offense last season, and what he managed to accomplish despite the struggles around him were nothing short of impressive.

Robinson had a career-best 98 receptions for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns, and his contributions to this offense over the last two seasons have been invaluable. Robinson has been one of the league’s best receivers, and all that without much help at the quarterback position. From Mitchell Trubisky to Blake Bortles, Robinson hasn’t had the best luck at quarterback.

But Robinson has accomplished some impressive things since he signed with Chicago two years ago. He’s been pretty incredible with receptions 20-plus yards downfield since he joined the Bears in 2018. According to Pro Football Focus, Robinson has 23 catches, the fifth most in the league, and zero drops over the last two years.

Robinson is entering the final year of his three-year, $42 million contract, although he’s indicated that there haven’t been any contract discussions between him and the Bears.

But Robinson has made it clear that he wants to remain in Chicago for the long-term. Now it’s up to general manager Ryan Pace to make it happen.
