Could the LSU Tigers be on the verge of another big-time commitment?
Five-star cornerback Ga’Quincy McKinstry released his top three schools on Twitter and, to the surprise of no one, the defending national champions made the cut.

McKinstry, a 5-foot-11, 172-pound cornerback from Pinson Valley High in Pinson, Ala., also had Auburn and Alabama among his top schools.

McKinstry is the No. 1 cornerback in 247sports individual rankings, and the No. 18 player overall in the class of 2021. He is the No. 2 cornerback in the 247Sports composite rankings.
Both schools from his home state of Alabama should be considered the favorites to land McKinstry. However, he does have a strong relationship with head coach Ed Orgeron and cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond.
And you can never count LSU out in the recruitment of defensive backs.
Another five-star defensive back, Jason Marshall, announced the Tigers were in his top five over the weekend.
The Tigers currently have 16 commitments in the 2021 class and rank No. 5 overall at the moment.
