Steelers' Ryan Switzer on IG Live says he's in the best shape of his life at 177 lbs: "I believe I will be one of the best slot receivers in the NFL….I have no doubt I’ll be up there and I’ll be talked about like Edelman is, like Welker was, like Jamison Crowder, Cole Beasley."

Last season, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Ryan Switzer caught eight passes. This offseason, the Steelers added a rookie wide receiver in the second round. But let none of that deters the confidence of Switzer. According to Steelers writer Brian Batko, Switzer feels like he can be one of the best slot receivers in the NFL.
One of the advantages of drafting Chase Claypool in the draft was to allow JuJu Smith-Schuster to slide inside and operate more as a slot receiver. I love Switzer as a player and am very glad he’s on the team. But I’m not sure how he is going to make a dent in the boxscore with the amount of talent on the roster.
Switzer joined the team in 2018. He had 36 receptions and played a multitude of roles including running back and as a returner. It isn’t clear what his role will be this season but we will definitely be rooting for him.
