The Arizona Cardinals rookies are scheduled to report to training camp today but none of their six draft picks have signed their rookie contracts. The first domino has fallen.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, first-round pick Isaiah Simmons has agreed to a four-year rookie contract.

His rookie deal is for a fully guarantees $20.66 million over the four years and will receive a signing bonus of $12.58 million. As a first-round pick, the team also has a fifth-year option it can exercise.
Simmons was the eighth overall pick in the draft and figures to be part of the defensive rotation at inside linebacker.
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 238 pounds with elite speed, the Cardinals are counting on Simmons to shore up the problems they have had in recent years with covering opposing tight ends.
