The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially signed all of their first-round picks. This news comes after pass-rusher K’Lavon Chaisson put pen to paper Monday, joining fellow first-round pick C.J. Henderson, who signed four days ago.

Chaisson, 20, was one of the Jags’ two first-round selections in April’s draft after the team snagged him with the No. 20 overall selection out of Louisiana State University. While competing in the Southeastern Conference, Chaisson helped lead the Tigers’ defense to the National Championship in January,  garnering a total of 60 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks on the season.

In all probability, Chaisson will be in the running to start at strong-side linebacker during training camp, but will have to battle veteran Cassius Marsh in the process. He’ll also see snaps on third-downs at defensive end, as the Jags look to up their sack production from a year ago when they registered 42.

Per Over the Cap, Chaisson’s deal is a four-year deal worth roughly $13,344,610 with a signing bonus of over $7.2 million, which will be distributed evenly over his deal. It’s also expected that the contract includes a fifth-year option as most first-round contracts do.
