Pro Football Focus rated Kirk Cousins pretty highly after this past season.
“Cousins was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league last season, producing a career-high 84.1 overall grade, including the playoffs. He made big plays outside the pocket,” PFF’s Steve Palazzolo wrote.
But when it comes to other positions, the outlet isn’t nearly as confident.
Read through Pro Football Focus’ season preview for the Vikings, and you will see words like “uncertainty,” “questions” and “holes.” The outlet likes a lot of players on the Vikings roster, but considers a lot of areas too unclear for an outlook.
Here’s what the outlet said about the team:
“After years as one of the best teams in the NFC, the Minnesota Vikings enter the 2020 season poised to compete but with more question marks than they’ve had in recent memory. The roster has undergone an overhaul over the past few seasons, with productive players moving on and more young players being counted on in their stead.”
Pro Football Focus also thinks Minnesota has the potential to bolster a franchise-defining draft, given the team’s 15 picks. If that works out, then maybe the Vikings are in store for regression after all.
