[autotag]Calvin Kattar[/autotag] was able to display the depths of his talent Wednesday when he earned his first main event victory against Dan Ige at UFC on ESPN 13.
Kattar (22-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) emerged victorious from the featherweight headliner with a unanimous decision over Ige (14-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) to give him four wins in his past five fights.
The Boston native put Ige’s name on a resume that includes other notables such as Jeremy Stephens, Ricardo Lamas and Shane Burgos. He called for a title shot against Alexander Volkanovski next, but with multiple big fights reportedly on the horizon at 145 pounds, chances are he won’t be next in line.

He could get the next best thing, though. As suggested in the UFC 251 edition of “Sean Shelby’s Shoes,” former champ Max Holloway (21-6 MMA, 17-6 UFC) could be a logical foe .
